Cafe Oaxaca is a hidden gem located at 1211 E Century Blvd, Los Angeles, offering a delightful introduction to Oaxacan cuisine. This cozy eatery, described as a "hole in the wall," is praised for its inviting ambiance and friendly service. Customers rave about the torta de milanesa, which hits the perfect balance between filling and flavorful. One review highlights the egg torta for breakfast as a notable mention, a testament to their commitment to fresh ingredients.
The drink menu is equally impressive. Patrons have fallen in love with their Medium Mocha Iced Coffee, reminiscent of traditional Abuelita chocolate, striking a satisfying balance between sweetness and rich coffee flavor. The café de olla paired with pan dulce has also received accolades for its authenticity and freshness.
With options spanning from breakfast sandwiches to refreshing smoothies and even Mexican treats like tostilocos, Cafe Oaxaca promises a delightful culinary experience at accessible prices. If you find yourself in the area, this charming spot is worth a visit for a quick bite or a cozy coffee date.

Really great place with bomb food. The torta de milaneza is very good. It is not too much but very filling. I have to admit i was surprised that a small shop like this was quite good for a quick bite to eat and a coffee to keep you up and going. It was pretty good and incredibly filling for what i needed. Thank you.

I ordered a Medium Mocha Iced coffee and wow! It is definitely one of the best iced coffees I've ever had! It had a subtle taste similar to Abuelita Chocolate de Barra typically used for making Hot chocolate. It was not overly sweet and you can taste the coffee as well! It was made just right. I would definitely come back and I highly reccomend checking them out if you're nearby.

Nice little hole in the wall. Not very flashy on the outside but very cozy on the inside. It's a coffee/snack shop. We had cafe de olla and pan dulce. The coffee was nice am hot and the bread was soft, fresh and not overly sweet. The person behind the counter was nice and friendly. She took the time to let us know what items they served. They have a variety of foods and drinks like lunch and breakfast Sandwiches, salads, ice cream, smoothies, hot and cold coffee, shaved ice (raspados), freshly made juices, tostilocos, and fruit salads to name a few. We only paid 8 for two 16 oz coffee and two pan dulce. You can't beat that price. I will definitely be coming back.

Delicious and friendly small mexican place. Restaurant specializes in sandwiches/tortas and drinks. The tortas are delicious and taste very fresh. I had the egg torta for breakfast and I loved it. The coffee is really good, I recommend it. They even have frapps and juices.

I don't think people understand that these people are an all natural spot in the middle of watts. I live here. And the cheapest food next to me is an A&Ts. They always give good service. They take a while because most items are made to order. And the prices are more than fair.

I have been meaning to leave a review for a long time. Great little gem with fresh salads and fresh juice options. I’ve had their tuna salad and vampiros and green juices and it’s always fresh and delicious. They added New burritos and beef n chicken bowl which i’m excited to try next time. Parking is a little difficult sometimes but if you plan ahead with a little more time, you can park across the street.

Great tortas! The staff puts together a great menu that includes typical Mexican sandwiches and health-oriented juices. Parking is very difficult and the surrounding area experiences very heavy traffic. Please be patient getting there but it's totally worth it for an afternoon break.
